Software Engineer
Lead the facilities engineering team to design, build, and maintain critical infrastructure, overseeing projects, budgets, and compliance while driving continuous improvement using tools like AutoCAD and Lean Six Sigma.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facility systems supporting biopharmaceutical operations.
- Lead cross‑functional project teams, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and manage multi‑year capital and operating budgets, tracking expenditures and forecasting financial performance.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with FDA, EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
- Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record managing large capital projects and multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, GMP, EPA, OSHA) and industry standards.
- Expertise with design tools such as AutoCAD and familiarity with PLC/control systems; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
