Software Engineer
Senior leader responsible for overseeing engineering and facilities operations, driving automation, managing large capital projects, and ensuring safety and cost‑effective delivery across a national supply‑chain network.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, facilities specialists, and project managers to design, build, and maintain high‑performing distribution centers.
- Develop and execute capital‑expenditure plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to safety standards.
- Partner with supply‑chain, IT, and operations stakeholders to integrate automation and data‑driven solutions into facility design and maintenance.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee third‑party service performance.
- Establish and enforce safety, regulatory, and sustainability compliance programs across all facilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities engineering, construction management, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale capital projects on schedule and within budget.
- Strong expertise in budget planning, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
- Deep knowledge of safety regulations, sustainability practices, and industry best‑practice standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
