Lead a high‑performing analytics team to design, build, and operationalize predictive models and machine‑learning solutions using Python, AWS, and modern data‑engineering tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy for predictive modeling and machine‑learning initiatives that drive business outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable ML pipelines on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) using Python, SQL, and data‑engineering frameworks.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and operations stakeholders to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Establish governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement processes for model performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building and productionizing machine‑learning models, preferably in a financial services or lending environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud services such as AWS (SageMaker, EMR, Lambda).
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and delivering end‑to‑end analytics projects.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners and present complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
