Lead the engineering of a cloud‑native integration platform that powers five digital domains, owning APIs, microservices, event streaming, and third‑party integrations to deliver reliable, scalable services across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain a robust API layer and microservices platform that supports all digital domains.
- Design and operate event‑streaming infrastructure to enable real‑time data flow between internal systems and external partners.
- Drive cloud‑native practices, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across the integration stack.
- Lead a cross‑functional engineering team, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations to define and enforce platform standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on platform and integration services.
- Proven leadership in building and scaling API, microservices, and event‑streaming architectures.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in a regulated environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of driving cross‑team collaboration.
