Data Scientist
Lead a data science team to design and deploy AI/ML solutions, drive analytics strategy, and deliver actionable insights using Python, statistical modeling, and cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data science roadmap aligned with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
- Design, develop, and productionize machine learning models and advanced analytics pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud services (AWS).
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholder groups to translate complex data problems into scalable solutions.
- Establish best practices for model governance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Python, statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools.
- Proven track record of delivering production‑grade AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
