About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional forecasting team, setting technical direction and ensuring delivery of high‑quality predictive models.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable time‑series and machine‑learning solutions in Python, leveraging AWS services for production.
- Collaborate with data engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Establish best practices for model validation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating technical results into business impact.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, with 5+ in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS (SageMaker, Redshift, Lambda).
- Deep expertise in time‑series forecasting, machine‑learning algorithms, and model deployment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in a life‑sciences or related industry is a plus.
