About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy for AI foundations and specialist model development across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary data science team, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous experimentation.
- Design, build, and productionize large‑scale machine learning and deep learning pipelines using Python, Spark, and cloud services (AWS).
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Establish best practices for model governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in Python, statistical modeling, and building production‑grade ML/DL models.
- Strong hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and big‑data processing frameworks such as Spark.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and drive cross‑functional alignment.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
