About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end‑to‑end data platform solutions for large insurance and financial clients, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in cloud migration initiatives, primarily on AWS, and implement Snowflake data lake and warehouse solutions.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, leveraging modern data integration tools to support real‑time analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex insurance domain requirements into technical specifications and data models.
- Mentor and coach junior architects and engineers, fostering best practices in data architecture and cloud operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data platform architecture, with a strong focus on insurance or financial services.
- Proven expertise in AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda) and Snowflake.
- Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data lake design, and big data technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks relevant to the insurance sector.
