Software Engineer
Lead a team to design, develop, and deploy advanced credit risk analytics solutions, leveraging Python, SQL, and machine learning on cloud platforms to improve risk assessment and decision‑making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the analytics roadmap for credit risk, aligning models and data pipelines with business objectives.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to build, validate, and productionize machine‑learning models for default prediction, exposure forecasting, and portfolio monitoring.
- Design and maintain scalable data architectures on AWS, ensuring reliable data ingestion, transformation, and storage for large‑scale credit datasets.
- Collaborate with risk, finance, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Establish governance, model monitoring, and performance reporting processes to meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in credit risk analytics, financial modeling, or related quantitative roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands‑on experience building machine‑learning models (e.g., gradient boosting, neural networks) for risk assessment.
- Deep understanding of risk modeling techniques, credit scoring, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, CECL).
- Experience deploying analytics solutions on AWS (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Lambda) or comparable cloud environments.
- Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of managing technical teams and delivering complex projects on schedule.
