Lead a team of auditors in designing and delivering data‑driven analytics solutions, leveraging Python, SQL and visualization tools to identify risks, improve controls and support strategic decision‑making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute analytics strategies for internal audit, focusing on risk identification and control effectiveness.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in building data pipelines, statistical models, and interactive dashboards using Python, SQL and visualization platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Collaborate with business units to translate audit findings into actionable insights and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain audit data repositories, ensuring data quality, governance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior analysts, promote best practices in data analytics, and stay current with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in audit analytics or related data‑analysis roles, with a proven track record of leading teams.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and data‑visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Deep understanding of audit methodologies, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex analytical results to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (CISA, CPA, CIA) preferred.
