Lead a high‑performing team to design, implement, and evolve application security programs, integrating secure development practices, threat modeling, and cloud security across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the application security strategy, aligning it with overall security and business objectives.
- Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of security engineers, analysts, and consultants.
- Integrate secure SDLC practices, threat modeling, and automated testing into agile development pipelines.
- Partner with product, engineering, and cloud teams to embed security controls in SaaS and cloud-native services.
- Oversee vulnerability management programs, ensuring timely remediation and risk communication to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in application security, including secure code review and penetration testing.
- Proven track record leading security initiatives in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep knowledge of secure development frameworks, threat modeling methodologies, and DevSecOps tooling.
- Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing technical teams.
