About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary AI/ML engineering team, setting technical direction and ensuring delivery of scalable, production‑ready models.
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end ML pipelines, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, validation, and deployment on AWS.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and clinical stakeholders to translate business problems into robust AI solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement of model performance, monitoring, and governance, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Champion best practices in software engineering, version control, CI/CD, and automated testing for ML workflows.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with 5+ in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, SageMaker).
- Strong background in data engineering, SQL, and big‑data technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is highly desirable.
