Lead the protection of critical mainframe environments, applying RACF expertise to secure financial data, conduct risk assessments, and respond to incidents in a fast‑moving fintech setting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain RACF security controls across enterprise mainframe systems.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root‑cause analysis and remediation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security best practices into development and operations.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for mainframe users and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe security, with deep RACF knowledge.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (PCI‑DSS, SOX).
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation of security tasks.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or mainframe security credentials are a plus.
