About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer for a contractual role with a Malaysian client. This position requires strong expertise in various aspects of machine learning, from mathematical modeling to deployment of NLP and recommendation systems.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy deep learning NLP models for classification.
Develop and implement recommendation systems using collaborative filtering and deep neural nets.
Utilize and apply methods and techniques in NLP such as transfer learning, hyperparameter tuning, and data augmentation.
Work with NLP embedding models like word2vec and BERT.
Deploy ML, NLP, and/or recommendation system models on cloud platforms such as Azure.

Requirements

Greater than 10 years of total experience.
Greater than 6 years of machine learning experience.
Strong experience in mathematical/process models, simulation modeling, and linear/integer/mixed programming (Gurobi, Python, MLOps).
Minimum 6+ years experience building deep learning NLP models for classification.
Experience in deploying ML, NLP, and/or recommendation system models in a cloud platform such as Azure.
Experience building recommendation systems using collaborative filtering and deep neural nets.
Experienced using deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow.
Experience using methods and techniques in NLP such as transfer learning, hyperparameter tuning, and data augmentation.
Experience working with NLP embedding models such as word2vec and BERT.
Experience working with CI/CD pipeline is a strong plus.
