ML Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of AI models for autonomous systems, leveraging Python, SQL, and AWS to build scalable data pipelines and production-ready ML solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines for autonomous vehicle perception and decision modules.
- Design and maintain scalable data ingestion, storage, and processing workflows using AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Collaborate with research scientists to translate novel algorithms into production‑ready code, ensuring reproducibility and performance.
- Optimize model training and inference pipelines for latency, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Monitor model health in production, perform drift detection, and orchestrate retraining cycles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning and data engineering, preferably in automotive or autonomous systems.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and model deployment tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
