Senior Logistics Specialist responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement of equipment and materials across data center communities, leveraging AWS services, data analysis, and supply chain best practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute logistics strategies for the delivery, installation, and de‑commissioning of data center assets across multiple sites.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, operations, and external carriers—to ensure on‑time, cost‑effective material flow.
- Analyze logistics data using SQL and other analytical tools to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, risk mitigation plans, and compliance documentation aligned with AWS and regulatory standards.
- Lead project‑level logistics initiatives, tracking milestones, budgets, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in data center or large‑scale infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, CloudFormation) and strong data‑analysis skills using SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑site projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field.
