About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable trading platforms for precious metals within the front‑office environment.
- Lead a cross‑functional agile team, mentoring engineers and driving best practices in code quality, testing, and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with traders, quants, and risk managers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java, C++, and Python, deployed on AWS infrastructure.
- Ensure system security, stability, and performance through proactive monitoring, incident response, and optimization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a lead or senior technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C++, and Python, and hands‑on experience building microservices.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
- Proven track record delivering high‑frequency, low‑latency trading applications in a front‑office setting.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work in an agile environment, and strong communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
