About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate highly available, low‑latency network infrastructure supporting electronic trading platforms.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of servers and network devices using Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripts.
- Lead container orchestration initiatives on Kubernetes, ensuring seamless scaling, service discovery, and resilience.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to define SLOs, monitor performance, and resolve incidents quickly.
- Drive cloud adoption and migration strategies on AWS, optimizing cost, security, and compliance for trading workloads.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Linux system administration and network engineering within high‑frequency or electronic trading environments.
- Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting in Python.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking (BGP, VXLAN), and cloud services on AWS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience in monitoring, alerting, and incident response (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to mentor engineers and influence cross‑functional teams.
