Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Infrastructure Monitoring - JPMorganChase

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a strategic, automation‑enabled observability platform for enterprise‑wide infrastructure monitoring.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and SRE teams to improve telemetry collection, signal quality, and alerting fidelity.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and integrate monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ensure platform security, scalability, and high availability across hybrid cloud (AWS) and on‑prem Linux environments.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering best practices in observability, incident response, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with infrastructure monitoring, observability tools, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong expertise in Prometheus, Grafana, and Terraform for building automated monitoring pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and performance tuning in large‑scale environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, drive technical strategy, and deliver production‑grade solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of improving reliability and operational insight through data‑driven approaches.
