About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and verification of complex FPGA solutions for aerospace applications.
- Develop RTL modules in Verilog/VHDL and SystemVerilog, ensuring compliance with stringent safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate FPGA logic with embedded C firmware and high‑speed serial interfaces.
- Perform synthesis, place‑and‑route, timing analysis, and power optimization on target FPGA families.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for HDL development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in FPGA design and RTL development.
- Proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog with a strong grasp of synthesis tools.
- Hands‑on experience with high‑speed serial protocols (e.g., PCIe, Serial RapidIO, LVDS).
- Solid understanding of embedded C and integration of FPGA logic with microcontroller firmware.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering high‑reliability solutions in aerospace or defense environments.
