Software Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of on‑prem Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for enterprise workloads using Docker, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage production‑grade Kubernetes clusters on on‑prem infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Design and maintain Helm charts and CI/CD pipelines to automate application delivery and cluster updates.
- Implement security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, and image scanning, and conduct regular cluster hardening reviews.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to troubleshoot performance issues, optimize resource usage, and enforce observability standards.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, integrating with existing on‑prem data centers and hybrid cloud environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production environments, preferably on‑prem.
- Strong proficiency in Docker, Helm, and CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and security concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
