Systems Engineer
Lead the development and optimization of Android-based Radio Tuner BSPs for automotive infotainment, ensuring high‑quality AM/FM, DAB, and HD Radio reception on ARM SoCs.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain device drivers for AM/FM, DAB, and HD Radio tuners on ARM‑based SoCs.
- Develop and optimize Linux kernel‑level Radio Tuner drivers and Android HAL (HIDL/AIDL) interfaces.
- Integrate HAL with kernel drivers and upper‑level frameworks, ensuring seamless communication.
- Collaborate with hardware and audio framework teams to deliver fully integrated radio solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, stability, and reception quality issues through rigorous debugging and profiling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Information Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Android and Linux embedded development on ARM platforms.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing kernel‑level device drivers and HAL components.
- Hands‑on knowledge of radio tuner technologies (AM/FM, DAB, HD Radio) and signal processing.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced automotive environment.
