Systems Engineer
Lead the development of a robust, high‑performance connectivity stack for Android Automotive, driving system‑level performance, stability, and quality across drivers, HAL, and kernel components.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Android Automotive device drivers and HAL modules to support connectivity features.
- Build and optimize the connectivity stack, including Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, and other vehicle‑specific protocols.
- Analyze and resolve performance and reliability issues at the system level, ensuring consistent quality in production and test environments.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans using CTS/VTS and other automotive testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate services into the IVI platform and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Android Automotive and Linux kernel development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and low‑level driver development.
- Strong knowledge of Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, and other connectivity protocols.
- Hands‑on experience with HAL design and integration.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, quality‑centric automotive environment.
