Senior IT Systems Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions, leveraging Python, AWS, Linux, and IaC tools to support high‑availability services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure supporting mission‑critical applications.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline provisioning and configuration.
- Build, monitor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliable, repeatable deployments across environments.
- Implement robust networking, security, and monitoring solutions, including VPC design, firewall rules, and observability tooling.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to troubleshoot performance issues and drive infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or DevOps, with deep expertise in AWS services.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Strong background in Linux system administration, networking, and security best practices.
- Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
