About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of IT support engineers, setting priorities and ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the company’s network, servers, and virtualization platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement and enforce ITIL processes, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to support the unique needs of a quantum computing environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and cloud cost management.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash, with a track record of automating complex workflows.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.
