Senior IT Support Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining NOC infrastructure, managing Linux/Windows servers, network devices, and virtualized environments using VMware ESXi and Proxmox, while ensuring high availability and performance through proactive monitoring and patch management.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support NOC operations for server, LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
- Configure, deploy, and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL) and Windows Server operating systems.
- Provision, manage, and maintain virtualized infrastructure using VMware ESXi and Proxmox.
- Perform regular maintenance, system upgrades, service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations on servers and network devices.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure optimal uptime.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or network operations.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware ESXi, Proxmox, and network device configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
