Systems Engineer
Senior IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer providing end‑to‑end service desk leadership, escalation handling, and infrastructure management in a fast‑paced FinTech BPO environment, leveraging Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, VMware, networking, and PowerShell automation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily service desk operations, triage tickets, and serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server and Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Active Directory, group policies, and identity services across hybrid environments.
- Administer VMware virtualisation platforms, including provisioning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Implement and support networking components such as firewalls, VPNs, and DNS/DHCP services.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in IT support and infrastructure engineering, preferably in a FinTech or BPO setting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure IaaS, and VMware virtualization.
- Proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- Advanced scripting skills with PowerShell for automation and reporting.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously across time zones.
