Lead cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and optimize digital workflows and automation solutions for the National Library of Medicine, driving efficiency, data‑driven insights, and policy‑supporting outcomes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project lifecycle for digital transformation initiatives, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, backlog grooming) and maintain product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across NIH, National Library of Medicine, and external partners to define requirements, scope, and success metrics.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and technical teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT project management experience in a federal or large enterprise environment.
- Proven track record delivering complex digital workflow and automation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
