About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high‑availability network, server, and storage environments to support archival services.
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud and virtual platforms, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and audit infrastructure controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
- Provide 24/7 on‑call support, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and coordinating with external vendors.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, with strong networking, virtualization, and cloud skills.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux administration, PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, including network segmentation, access controls, and incident response.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
