About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Airflow on AWS.
- Develop and optimize data models and warehouses in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and alerting frameworks to ensure pipeline reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Apply best practices for security, governance, and cost‑optimization in a federal environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, including building production‑grade pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Glue.
- Strong experience with Snowflake data warehousing and Apache Airflow orchestration.
- Demonstrated ability to model complex data structures and implement data quality controls.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain any required federal clearances.
