Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate cybersecurity operations for the U.S. Cyber Command mission, ensuring robust protection of critical information systems.
Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies, developing policies and procedures to safeguard network integrity.
Oversee incident response planning and execution, managing investigations and remediation efforts across multiple platforms.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards (NIST, DoD, FISMA) through continuous monitoring and audit support.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices.
Requirements
Senior-level experience in information security, preferably within a defense or federal environment.
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and incident response.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in security tools, network protocols, and compliance frameworks.
Valid security clearance and willingness to work within the Cyber Excepted Service.
