About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and AI solutions on AWS to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Lead data analytics projects, turning complex retail data into actionable insights for strategy and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, AI, or related fields within the retail or consumer sector.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, S3, Redshift).
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering data‑driven solutions that impact business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
