Lead the design, construction, and commissioning of high‑density data center facilities, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and sustainability while coordinating cross‑functional teams and leveraging advanced engineering tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer data center mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems to meet performance, redundancy, and sustainability targets.
- Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and cost control for large‑scale data center builds across multiple regions.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain construction quality.
- Implement and validate automation scripts (e.g., Python) for system testing, monitoring, and documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety reviews, and post‑construction performance validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with 8+ years of data center construction experience.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, power distribution, and cooling infrastructure design for hyperscale environments.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with Python for automation is a plus.
- Experience managing multi‑site projects across North America, EMEA, or APAC and a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
