Senior IT Business Systems Analyst responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, driving process improvements, and supporting data‑driven decision making using SQL, Agile practices, and data modeling techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, prioritize backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of system enhancements.
- Identify process inefficiencies, propose improvements, and drive implementation of best‑practice solutions.
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing coordination, and post‑implementation support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis within a financial or credit union environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into technical specifications and actionable solutions.
