About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain cloud‑native services that ingest, process, and store telemetry from millions of IoT devices.
- Implement secure device provisioning, authentication, and communication using MQTT and Azure IoT Hub/AWS IoT Core.
- Build and deploy containerized microservices with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and auto‑scaling.
- Collaborate with data science and edge‑device teams to create APIs and data pipelines for real‑time analytics.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging to guarantee reliability and rapid iteration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, with deep expertise in Python and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Strong background in IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP) and device lifecycle management.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, event‑driven architectures, and scalable data storage solutions.
- Solid understanding of security best practices for cloud and IoT environments.
