Implementation Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable integration solutions using APIs, microservices, and AWS, driving seamless digital and physical experiences for a leading hospitality brand.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust integration solutions that connect internal systems, third‑party services, and physical touchpoints.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs, event‑driven microservices, and data pipelines using Java and Docker.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection across all integration points.
- Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployment pipelines, ensuring continuous delivery and high availability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance, applying best practices for scalability and resilience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in integration engineering or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Java, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS) and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of security principles, OAuth, JWT, and data encryption.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and automated testing frameworks.
