Software Engineer
Lead instrument maintenance and calibration in a regulated, high‑volume testing environment, ensuring precision and compliance across analytical platforms using advanced instrumentation and quality systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on analytical instruments to minimize downtime.
- Execute calibration, validation, and qualification procedures in accordance with regulatory standards (GLP, GMP, ISO).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements and new instrument integrations.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including work orders, calibration certificates, and deviation reports.
- Provide technical support and training to laboratory personnel on instrument operation and maintenance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in instrument engineering or technical support within a regulated life‑sciences environment.
- Strong knowledge of calibration standards, QA/QC processes, and regulatory compliance (GLP/GMP).
- Proficient in troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, and software components of analytical instruments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and training.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
