About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of environmental innovation projects across parks and recreation assets.
- Utilize GIS and data analytics to assess environmental impacts, identify improvement opportunities, and support decision‑making.
- Develop and maintain CAD models and technical documentation for infrastructure upgrades and green initiatives.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure compliance with environmental standards and project objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement through the application of sustainability best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental project management, GIS, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks.
