Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable infrastructure solutions for a global knowledge platform, leveraging Python, Go, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform to protect data and services at scale.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build secure, highly available infrastructure for web and data services using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Implement automated security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks across the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with platform, security, and operations teams to define and enforce security best practices.
- Develop and maintain Go and Python tooling for infrastructure automation and monitoring.
- Respond to security incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on security.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, and Kubernetes cluster management.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC) and IaC tools like Terraform.
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
