Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in video‑conference platforms, responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting high‑availability conferencing solutions across on‑premise and cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑grade video‑conferencing infrastructure (Cisco Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) on both on‑premise and AWS environments.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network components (routers, switches, firewalls) to ensure low‑latency, high‑quality video streams.
- Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash) for provisioning, monitoring, and patching of conferencing services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate video solutions with collaboration tools, authentication services, and monitoring platforms.
- Provide Tier‑2/3 support, incident response, and root‑cause analysis for service disruptions.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and capacity‑planning models to support scalability and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on video‑conferencing technologies.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, QoS, and security best practices for real‑time media.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux system administration and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and monitoring.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
