Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting cloud‑native and on‑premise infrastructure, automating operations with IaC tools, and ensuring high availability and security for critical financial services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS and hybrid environments supporting mission‑critical applications.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using Terraform, Ansible, and Python/Bash scripts.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and lead root‑cause analysis to improve reliability and response times.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to enforce best practices and compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge‑base articles for the SRC First Response team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix systems administration and cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, VPN, and security controls.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
