About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain RACF security policies across the mainframe environment.
- Administer and troubleshoot z/OS, CICS, and DB2 systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation of routine tasks and batch processing.
- Collaborate with application teams to support deployment, configuration, and migration of mainframe applications.
- Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews for mainframe infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe administration, with deep knowledge of RACF, z/OS, CICS, and DB2.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, KSH) and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of mainframe security best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
