Devops Engineer
Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, while automating workflows with Python and CI/CD pipelines to support digital services across multiple locations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure, highly available AWS infrastructure for mission‑critical services.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and Kubernetes manifests to automate provisioning and scaling.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Python scripts and GitHub Actions to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot performance issues and enforce best practices.
- Document architecture, processes, and runbooks to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably within a public sector environment.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM) and IaC tools such as Terraform.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and related tooling.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and familiarity with CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
