Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and managing cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure AWS environments supporting mission‑critical applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible, ensuring repeatable and auditable deployments.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) and associated CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize resources to meet SLAs and cost targets.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed best‑practice infrastructure standards across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture design.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform, and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, monitoring, and incident response in cloud environments.
