Systems Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for a SaaS healthcare analytics platform, driving reliability, security, and performance across multi‑tenant environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, secure infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, RDS, S3, and VPC networking.
- Implement and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficient scaling and rolling updates.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment pipelines using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD workflows.
- Monitor system health with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch; troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and implement capacity planning.
- Enforce security best practices: IAM, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and compliance audits.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to define infrastructure requirements and support continuous delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud and on‑prem infrastructure engineering.
- Proficient with AWS services, Linux administration, and container orchestration.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with IaC.
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring, logging, and security tooling.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
