Senior Infrastructure and Platform Engineer - Nomura

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and manage highly available infrastructure on AWS and hybrid environments, ensuring scalability and resilience for mission‑critical applications.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, Helm charts, and container registries, optimizing deployment pipelines and resource utilization.
• Develop and enforce IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible, automating provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD, integrating automated testing, security scanning, and blue‑green deployments.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to enforce best practices, monitor performance, and troubleshoot incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash, and familiarity with CI/CD tooling.
• Proven track record of designing secure, compliant, and cost‑efficient cloud architectures.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to automation and process improvement.
• Effective communication skills, able to collaborate across global teams and translate technical concepts to stakeholders.
