Senior Information System Security Officer ISSO - Marlborough, MA

As a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO), you will be responsible for protecting sensitive information and ensuring the security of information systems. You will work closely with the Information Systems Security Manager to develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure implementation of new systems and technologies.
• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Monitor and report on security incidents and breaches.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud security and compliance.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations, such as NIST and HIPAA.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, including AWS and Python.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
