Senior Information System Security Officer ISSO - El Segundo, CA

As a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO), you will be responsible for protecting sensitive information and ensuring the security of information systems. You will work closely with the Information Systems Security Manager to develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and procedures. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including NIST and DoD standards.
• Collaborate with the Information Systems Security Manager to develop and implement security plans.
• Provide security guidance and support to IT teams and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud security and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security features and services.
• Experience with risk management frameworks, such as NIST and DoD.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
