Embedded Systems Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of software‑defined manufacturing systems, integrating robotics, PLCs, and advanced control algorithms to accelerate metal‑forming production from prototype to full scale.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate automation solutions for intelligent, software‑defined factories, including robotics, PLCs, and CNC equipment.
- Implement control algorithms and motion planning using C++, Python, and ROS to enable flexible metal‑forming processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate digital designs into production‑ready automation workflows, reducing time‑to‑market.
- Develop and maintain simulation and testing frameworks to validate system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement of automation standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industrial automation experience.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, robotics integration, and control system design.
- Strong software development skills in Python and C++, with hands‑on experience using ROS.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy end‑to‑end automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
