Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and testing of Instrument Landing System (ILS) solutions across air, land, and cyber domains, leveraging RF engineering, embedded software, and advanced signal processing to deliver mission‑critical avionics performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate ILS hardware and firmware, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct RF simulations and measurements, optimizing antenna performance and signal integrity for diverse operational environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate ILS subsystems into larger avionics platforms, troubleshooting integration issues.
- Lead test planning, execution, and analysis for ILS prototypes, documenting results and recommending design improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support field service teams during deployment.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, or related field with 5+ years of ILS or RF system experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded software development.
- Strong background in RF design, antenna theory, and signal processing.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
